- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sweet potato slices. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour half of the heavy cream over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and melted butter; mix until coated. Top the dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
