Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap the garlic in aluminum foil and roast for about 20 minutes until soft.
  2. Boil the potato chunks in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain well.
  3. Return potatoes to the pot over low heat to evaporate excess moisture.
  4. Add butter to the potatoes, allowing it to melt, then stir in heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Squeeze roasted garlic cloves into the mixture and season with salt and pepper.
