  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh sage (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat dry.
  3. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped herbs. Spread the mixture generously under and over the turkey skin.
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the seasoned turkey.
  5. Place the turkey breast-side up on a rack in a roasting pan, adding chicken broth to the pan.
  6. Roast for approximately 13-15 minutes per pound, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste occasionally with pan juices.
