  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until cranberries are coated; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, baking powder, salt, and melted butter until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of this mixture for topping.
  4. Firmly press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. Evenly spread the cranberry mixture over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
