- 1 cup smoked gouda cheese, shredded
- 1 large Granny Smith apple, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes).
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced Italian sausage and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
