  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 3 cups Granny Smith apples, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cranberries, apples, lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Spread the fruit mixture in a greased baking dish and cover evenly with the oat topping.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
