- 3 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Activate the yeast by combining warm water and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the frothy yeast mixture and melted butter. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into small balls (about 1 inch). Roll each ball in melted butter and then coat with everything bagel seasoning.
- Arrange the coated dough balls in a greased bundt or loaf pan. Cover and allow to rise for another 30 minutes while preheating your oven to 350°F.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
