  • 1 lb lean ground beef or sausage
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Plug in the Instant Pot and select the sauté function. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Add the ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in the marinara sauce, then add ziti pasta (no pre-cooking needed). Push down gently to cover with sauce.
  4. Spoon ricotta cheese over the pasta and sprinkle mozzarella generously on top.
  5. Close the lid and set to manual high pressure for 8 minutes; allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes before venting.
  6. Stir gently before serving, garnishing with fresh herbs.
