  • 2 large eggs
  • For the Topping: 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. 2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to the yeast mixture until a soft dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. 5. Prepare filling by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans. Melt butter with maple syrup for topping.
