Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) red velvet cake mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter with half of the red velvet cake mix until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until creamy.
- Mix cocoa powder into one-third of the cheesecake filling for marbling.
- Pour half of the plain cheesecake filling over the crust, dollop cocoa-infused cheesecake on top, then add remaining plain filling. Swirl gently with a knife.
